What's happening for Father's Day?
We celebrate it in September, so I don't have to think about it for awhile. It is dh's birthday instead lol.

My father lives 400 miles away, so I never see him on Father's day any more. We're going to my fil's house for a cookout. Oh, and he already told us to bring our working gloves because we'll be doing yard work---I don't think so! If Dave wants to do it, that's fine, but I do enough work around my house without doing his work too.

We either make ourselves miserable, or we make ourselves strong. The amount of work is the same.

My parents are going upstate to Atlanta to visit with my sister and her family....so I won't see him on Father's Day. I think Jeremy is wanting to treat all of us on Father's Day at a local BBQ place after church. We've already bought Shane's gift. He wanted a stainless steel Swiss Army watch. I also bought him a new pair of sneakers. He's been complaining about his feet and legs...it's no wonder, those work boots he wears must weigh 25 lbs.!

I'm not sure what we'll be doing on Father's Day this year. I'm sure we will take Mike's dad and step dad out to breakfast, but not sure when. I'm really not looking forward to the day since this is my first Father's Day without my dad (he passed away on May 9). I know I will be bringing flowers to the cemetery and I'm pretty sure it'll be another emotional day for me.

Sometimes I get caught by surprise, I guess, sorry Chelle.
I am sorry for your loss Gina. I can't imagine what it would feel like.

We usually don't do much, except they have a Father's Day stall at school and the kids are able to get little gifts there.

Hugs Gina~~ I will be thinking of you.
For us, we will get together with Lori and Joey and kids and take dh and Joey out to dinner. I think we have chosen a bbq place. We all went together and bought Hack a swing for the side porch which is what he wanted. Wow, good , cause I wanted one too. LOL
