Well ladies, this weekend is the 4th of July weekend.
How will you celebrate it?
Are firework legal where you are?
Will you be with family & friends or just the two of you?
We always go to FIL's house the weekend of the 4th and have a big gathering of step brothers and so forth, always someone there we don't know. SMIL owns a Home Health Care business, and some of her caregivers always show up.
We will be poolside, and lots of games going on, the younger kids will play whatever and the guys always get a football or baseball game going. Then they will switch to horseshoes. Later on when it gets too much for them outside, they will end up in the rec room playing video games or ping pong, or pool.
We'll end up after all the stepbrothers leave watching a movie and going to sleep.
On Sunday we will have another cookout and once again I will be making HM Ice Cream and Snow Cones.
Then we will go downtown and listen to live music and watch the fireworks that the city puts on.
It should be a fun and relaxing weekend for me.
When we get home, we will do fireworks of our own. Fireworks are legal in SC and we have lots of fun doing them.
Hope you all have a safe and happy 4th!!

For us it is usually picnic food, and then fireworks downtown..Use to be a bigger production when the children were home..Complete with watermelon and sparklers..I love the Fourth of July...In Michigan we always went to the parade as Scott was in the band then and marched..That was fun..

Ryan and I will be doing something but I'm not sure what yet. We will be going to Roanoke to spend the night and then get her test run on the 5th. The hotel we are staying at is very historic and should be a great location for watching the fireworks.
