How will you celebrate? What will you cook or will you cook? What gifts will you give?
We celebrate with Don's Dad at his house, beside the pool and we always have a nice cookout but nothing really big. Since Don is the only one there really isn't any point in doing something huge.
We will have Grilled Italian or Honey Mustard chicken breast Hot dogs & Hamburgers Salad Homemade Ice Cream & fresh fruit. Snow Cones for the kiddos
Gifts will be rose bushes (yearly thing) We will be surrounding his pool with Roses eventually. so far there are 8 of them by sunday there will be 10

Ellise, it sounds like your Don and his dad will be having a very nice Father's Day! I find the best memories we have are the simple ones as a family.... Pierre was supposed to work, as he works on week-ends, but he has hurt his neck and right shoulde again....and he has a tendinitis in his right wrist, so that means he will be home with us for Father's Day. I haven't planned any thing yet...it will be probably be a quiet day with our boys...I think my mom said that they might come for a visit. I hope so...it would be nice. I bought Pierre a kit from Avon--Wild Country, I think it's called....he will be getting the cologne, the body wash and the deodorant. I know he likes that. For the menu, I don't know yet...maybe steak or chicken as it is both his favorite.

We will be spending at least part of the day with Mel's dad. He's got cancer so we are expecting this to be the last father's day we have with him. Ryan has made Mel 2 cards so far and we got him a cute replica of a bubble gum bank. He collects banks. I think it will be a fairly quiet day for all of us. Not sure about the meal yet.

Uhm .. .. we'll be out of state for Father's day. We're going to meet an online friend (I've "talked" to her for years, but never met her face to face) for lunch that day.

Since my dad has passed away Father's Day is hard for me. But I will be taking my honey out to a nice dinner and giving him a new squirrrel-proof bird feeder.

DD is having us over for a cook-out. They live on a farm in the country. It will be nice to have someone else do the cooking while we play with the grand-babies. Dh likes his Harley, so he is getting more chrome for it.

Letting Jack pick dinner and letting him putter around at will.

We (the kids and I) will take david out to eat Saturday night. He will have breakfast in bed Sunday morning before church- the kids love that! Then we will stop over and see his dad sometime that day. I of course will call my dad and then get off the phone and cry because I miss him! As for gifts, David will get flip flops (Gabby), pocket watch(aaron) and some runing shorts from me and Nolan.

Since dh is gone (or supposed to be) we won't be doing anything with him. His card is in his backpack for him to find later. I will call both grandparents and let dkids talk to them. We are invited to a 30 yr wedding anniversary celebration that afternoon, so we will probably stop in and say hi for that.
