Sunday it was 105º out there! Monday night we had a nasty storm, 2-1/2" of rain and a tornado, and today you need jeans and a T-shirt outside! It's 60º right now!
Just wanted to let my friends know that relief is on the way!

It's in the 60's here this morning too, but we didn't get the rains We're in severe drought here , no REAL rain since April. We've gotten an occasional drizzle, but nothing much. It's scary. sure am glad for the break in the heat though. We had actual temps of 100 degrees yesterday, and today's high is predicted at 77 degrees.

No break in temps here until tomorrow. Can't wait. Not as humid today, but still in the 90's. Come on 70's

Yesterday we got up to 106°F with the heat idex of 120°F Today we had a bit of a breeze that was nice but we still hit 90°F we also got some rain this evening what a relief that was. it is 72°F right now.

I am sorry to hear that you had bad weather but I am glad that you are getting little relief from this unrelenting heat.
