Go God! Good for your lawn and flowers Jayne. It has been a dry, hot and humid summer here in KY too. Out lawn turned brown twice. We had a huge rainstorm last night..But I think it just isn't enough or often enough. Looking forward to next year..

Doesn't it figure? *Yesterday*, when I was nose-down in cookbooks in a kitchen that looked like two or three bombs hit it (thank God for a hubby who kept cleaning up after me!), it was sunny and fairly hot. Of course, the oven and one or two burners were on most of the day.
Today, when I don't have to do anything, and could be out in the garden, the skies are gray, the air is a wee bit nippy, and it looks like it could rain any minute.
huh!

It was gray here today as well, and yesterday too really.

Braided, you can KEEP all the grey skies over on that side of the Tasman, thank you very much.
Today looks slightly more promising - lots of clouds, but there is a hint of sunshine as well.
Hmmmmm no excuse to not garden.
Right now, though, I'm HUNGRY! Someone toss me some food.

Today was frosty and sunny, very nice. The tulips came up in droves. Hope the rest follow.

BR, Do NOT listen to Jayne and Car! We do not want any of that frosty weather thank you very much! I would be thrilled if it stayed spring or fall all the time, just bypass summer and definitely winter! Jayne you can't possibly love all that snow we get?

Frosty again this morning, we thought we were finished with frosts, but can't be safe from them until September. We were rewarded by a lovely sunny day with no fog.
We say here that Jack Frost has paid a visit to the kids.

Ah...summer...I am now, for the first time as an adult, enjoying summers again. Summers in Christchurch, and in most of NZ, are mild, with just enough warm/hot days (relatively speaking but never as bad as Florida) to satisfy one's soul. Spring is here now, with the winter flowers beginning to fade, and the spring ones taking center stage.
