dh is planting several kinds of gourds and large pumpkins..It got me to thinking about fall.
Do you decorate your yard and home for fall?
I love to buy a bale of straw, surround it with tons of gourds and pumpkins, a bunch of fodder shocks with a big bow...and pots full of mums..and a scarecrow.
What do you use to decorate your yard for fall.

Oh my favorite time of year! It's Football season!!!
We put out bales of hay, with three pumpkins (1 for each of us) Indian corn stalks, gourds, mums and instead of a scarecrow we do a football player stuff the pants and shirt with hay and use an old broomstick to stand him up. Use floral foam in the helmet to make the head! Soooooo cute. I'll have to take pictures this year!

That sounds cute Ellise! ;D I don' t decorate much at all for any holidays, I used to but then work and life got in the way and it was too much to take down and do again for the next one. I'll try and decorate this year. You all remind me now!  |
