Well, fall has officially arrived in my neck of the woods. It's been in the 40's all day, leaves are falling off the trees with each gust of cold wind blowing through here. I know summer is over, due to the fact that I finally had to turn on the furnace this evening. After all day in long sleeves with my house temp at 65 degrees, well, it was just time to warm the place up a bit! I do love the pretty colors on the trees though, looks gorgeous to see how God paints them so beautifully!

It was 15 or 16oC in the house yesterday I think, so we lit the fire again. It is spring here and luckily we still have wood. It did help to be warm again.

In the 40's? oh my.....still in the 90's here. It was overcast here, so it was a bit cooler. Our a/c is blowing cold air. I will be so glad when it cools down here, although it's typically late November before we see much cooler temps.

Nice and comfortable here in my neck of the woods. High today is 68°F. Not enough rain this year for the leaves to have turned their usual beautiful shades.
