Include the artist. I like David Bowie's version of The Little Drummer Boy.

Karen~ I have to tell you that my favourite is Little Drummer Boy, played by anyone, but especially by my then 11 year old son, who had the solo drummer part in his band... :-) Which of course is his now fave also.
And my next favourite is Silent Night, sung by my church...

Anything by Johnny Mathis, but Silver Bells comes to mind first. I like the songs (traditional in my opinion) from when I was a kid all the way back to the 30's best. The newer versions just don't sound like Christmas music to me.

Dee, I think we grew up in the same time frame, Late 60's -80's. I remember listening to all sorts of Christmas songs from Johnny Mathis, Ray Connif, Bing Crosby etc... I just love when I hear then again, takes me back to when I was a little girl sitting on Daddy's lap just listening drinking egg nog.

I KNEW I loved you girl..I am the biggest Johnny Mathis fan. I have some of his music and I listen to it all the time. I don't have a holiday album, but I gotta get one now..Thanks for the walk down memory lane..

LOL Car, I think the only ones I have are Christmas ones of his! I do love his voice though and could listen to it for hours!

Silent Night (makes me cry every time!) and What Child is This. Those are my two favourites but I love 'em all. I love Christmas! The kids get a chuckle as I start playing Christmas music real early...it gets everyone in the spirit!

At the moment, I definitely agree about Little Drummer Boy. Will have to think about some others that I like.

Hands Down Winner for me:
O Beautiful Star of Bethlehem
if I had to pick another one it would be: Mary Did You Know - Mark Lowry or O Holy Night - John Berry
