My Christmas Chain

Christmas day will soon be here,
And I can hardly wait.
I’ve made this little Christmas chain
To help me celebrate.
Each day I’ll snip one loop from it
To help me to remember
That happy, happy Christmas day
The 25th of December.
Please help me hang my chain up high,
I’ll cut one loop each day
and when we reach the golden loop,
It will be Christmas day.

This Christmas chain can be printed with simple gifts from mom to the child of things they can do together to celbrate the season or of simple things that child can do to help others.

What a lot of fun. Perhaps sitting down during the Thanksgiving holidays, (instead of fighting the Black Friday crowds) with Mom, Dad and the kids making these chains together. Some fun bonding special time and fun all the way until the holidays. Building the excitement. And what child wouldn't want to get a little gift. :-)

We did this when Daniel was in Kinergarten and did until he was about 10 shhhh! don't tell anyone he LOVED it! and had it in the living room but told his Buddies it was mine
