I'd like to know what some of you will get the men in your lives for Christmas. My husband seems to get harder tyo buy for the longer we're married. You can only buy so many golf-related gifts! Also, what about your Dads, brothers, uncles, etc.

My dad: cigarettes (he has smoked since he was 14, I don't imagine I'll convince him to stop at age 75) flannel shirts with snap closures ( these are hard to find, but he gets cold and his one hand only allows him to do snaps these days) jig saw puzzles-- any picture, he has always loved to work puzzles food-- homemade goodies, dad loves to eat and he only weighs about 140 lbs, so I make penuche, oatmeal cookies, homemade bread. . . . Hubby: weather related items as he used to be storm chaser--- this year I got him a weather watch, and Old Farmer's almanac game cube games as he likes to play on the Nintendo coupons for a massage from me My brother- we haven't exchanged gifts for several years, but things I used to get him airplane related magazines, etc. as he makes parts for the planes homemade hot chocolate mix Deana's boyfriend: clothes magazine subscriptions sports related items (afghans, T-shirts, etc) gas gift certificates fast food GC's

love the gas gift certificate. neat.
my dh loves the great outdoors. he always appreciates anything related to fishing or hunting, including mag subscriptions to his favs....outdoor living, field and stream...
another thing he likes to do is fire up the grill. homemade seasonings, like cajun rub, he likes those sorts of things. he also loves cream soda, so I buy him that and a big bottle of vanilla syrup to pour in it.
my dad likes gourmet candies. he really does! i just think that is too funny. he is also a coin collector, but that can get a little pricey. he likes knives of any kind and i just about always buy him a cap of some kind.
don't have any brothers, but my bil loves southern gospel music. so I just buy him a good ole gospel cd. he's always happy with it.

I think my ds has asked for a motorcycle once or twice in the last few weeks. His friends have one, or friend. He also asked for a snowboard and a computer! Then he would like a game for his DS handheld game. I wonder which is his favorite.

br we found a motorcycle for him for $300.00 so we figured we'd get it for him. It's small as he is only about 5'4" tall and only weighs about 125 lbs!

Sounds like fun Ellise. We helped my stepson buy a motorbike eons ago, ie the idea and the opportunity. He and his brother had a bit of fun and he also learnt how to fix it. I am still leaning towards the snow board here, for this Christmas.

I have nightmares that the ski shop will be closed because it is summer, although it may have snowed on the mountain yesterday. Is that Daniel's fav brand? Does he have a recommendation?

br around here they stay open year round!! Yep his favorite brands are Rusty, Billabong, Spitfire (skateborad stuff I think), and Burton. Try doing a search for Burton and I bet you could find some great deals.

Thanks Ellise. Back home they have the things in the menswear shop. I don't live near enough to it to know here, it is about 8 miles. Was thinking of having ds do his driving lesson there on Saturday to check the notice on the door, it may even be open then. Hopefully he can keep a secret.
