-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bake your quick breads in a clean tin can that has an interesting shape. Take care to spray the inside of the tin can with Pam for easy removal
Wrap in coloured Saran Wrap and tie with festive ribbon.
You may wish to give this with a hot cocoa mix, coffee or tea.

2 c candy corn 2 c m&m's 2 cups unsalted nuts.

Need a little homemade gift for children...
2 c animal crackers 2 c chocolate covered raisins 1 cup jelly beans 1 cup unsalted nuts.
Present in a sand bucket or some other child's inexpensive toy.

2 T butter 2 C pecans or walnuts 1/4 C sugar 1/2 t cinnamon 1 T brown sugar
Melt butter in microwave on high for 30 seconds in 2 qt glass bowl. Add nuts. Microwave on high 4-5 minutes, stirring every minute. Combine sugar, cinnamon, and brown sugar and add to nuts to coat. Cool on a bread board.
Makes 2 cups. Give as gifts or as a little gift for guests to take home.

2 C roasted peanuts 1 C raisins 1 C chopped apricots 1/2 C shredded coconut
1 egg white 2 T water 2/3 Cup sugar 1 t salt 1 t sugar 1 t allspice 1/2 t ginger 1/2 t nutmeg
Combine first 4 ingredients in large bowl. Beat egg white and water til frothy. Stir in sugar, salt and spices. Pour egg mix over the nuts and fruit. Toss to coat. Spread on greased 15 x 10 x 1 pan. Bake at 275 degrees for 55 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes.
Cool and place in pint jars. Give as give or enjoy yourself.

In a clay pot, that can be used later for a plant, place a jar of fresh homemade salsa, a bag of tortilla chips, and a packet of taco seasoning.

Stumped on what to give for that little something gift...
Griddle syrup pancake mix spatula
Wrap in a pretty tea towel, and add a dish cloth tied in a knot as a bow.
