Let's hear what everyone's plans are for the upcoming New Years Eve.
Will you stay home? Go out? Gather at church?
Dh and I plan to stay home, just the two of us. Now sure what we will do, but I think probably rent a couple flicks and play some cards or games.

Well, my plans were cancelled ----- no one wants to come to my house I'll go to bed early, and go to work on Sunday. I think Deana and Jerry are going to the youth group party.

We either make ourselves miserable, or we make ourselves strong. The amount of work is the same.

We generally stay at home on New Years Eve. Sometimes attend watch night services, but not this year. We'll snack and watch movies.
Sunday will be just like any other Sunday for us....worship, come home for dinner, rest.

We will have a few friends over and do some fireworks, I am cooking lots of little "finger"foods so I can get out of the kitchen early. Then We will snuggle up on the couch and try to stay awake to welcome in the new year.

Nuttin honey! ;D
LOL We have never done anything on New Year's Eve. It used to be when we were younger that we were always the ones that had to work. Now we don't care to go out in all the mayhem. ;D

Borrowed from the Irish ~ May those that love us, love us, And those that don't love us, May God turn their hearts, And if He doesn't turn their hearts, May He turn their ankles, So we'll know them by their limping !! HAPPY NEW YEAR !!

I'm with Deed.
I did suffer withdrawals for quite a few years, I was used to going to a dance, in Australia you can stay up until dawn if you want to, it is only cool around dawn, and wander around. It only gets dark around 9pm.
