Ok, members, the holidays are over and I am betting, like me, everyone has the post-holiday blahs...
So, I was thinking today that perhaps we might have a handmade Valentine Card swap.
Karen made the cutest handmade Christmas cards, didn't she?
You would make a card for each person who signs up. Doesn't have to be fancy, just handmade.
Come on girls, this will get those creative juices flowing again and you will receive all those cute handmade ones to display.
Anyone in? Oh yea, I am in!

I think I can do this one. How many will we be making? One for each member that signs up or like in partners? Either way is fine with me.

Carolyn, I've been thinking...could it be possible we only send one to one person? It costs me 80 cents plus 15 % tax each letter I send and if we are many, I'm afraid it will add up...and with Christmas that just past, money is tighter....

Sure, Lucie, I didn't even count the cost for those out of the USA, sorry. Let's just keep the cost down and make a nice one for a partner. That way we only have to make one!. What does everyone else think? I will assign partners around January 21st. That will give us four weeks to make one and mail it to arrive by V-Day

Oh thanks Carolyn! And it will give each of us enough time to really make a nice card for our partner.

I could be in Melbourne that week, a drive of 5 1/2 hours, so probably won't be able to participate, which is a shame, I was looking forward to the next swap, I have the post holiday blahs too.
I will look on with interest as I haven't really ever done anything for Valentine's Day. My best memory of it is watching the episode on Pooh bear which is wonderful and I'm sure sums up an American Valentine's Day.

I saw the one you mean Cara. I still want to send Karen another calendar and I promised MV some seeds, so I feel I need to do those first, but still thinking about it, thanks.
