What will you buy your sweetie for Valentines Day. Do you do anything special, take a trip, Dh and I don't usually exchange V-Day gifts, just cards and occasionally he might bring me a bouquet of flowers. We did go to Niagra Falls once for V Day.

Usually a special family meal. I drag out the burgundy dishes, white linens. I decorate the table with camellias, votive candles in red and pink and scatter those little conversation hearts around for fill ins. I cook something special....dessert is usually chocolate cake garnished with strawberry slices.
They seem to enjoy this best....dh loves it best, I think. We don't normally do gifts.

I wish I had camellias in February. Sigh.

I had a look on the calendar for the 14th. It will be the second day of our eldest son's orientation for uni and the second day of our eldest daughter's camp at the beach. Pre-school and a school day for the others. I had forgotten all about camp. Will have to give it some more thought.

We really don't do anything special. I get DH and the girls cards and I got each of them some chocolate at the dollar store.

We will have Heart shaped pancakes with HM Strawberry syrup. I usually make a Valentines cookie for us all to share, not sure if I will this year or not.

We usually buy some chocolate heartsd for the boys. One year we played a game I invented...I wrote down many questions about and put it in a red arganza bag..(?spelling) and each one took a turn to pick a question and answer it. It was really fun. This year, I don't know...for sure I'll do a little something special.
