I had a lovely long conversation on the phone with Car on Christmas Eve. I was feeling queasy then but thought it was because I forgot to eat dinner being so busy all day....... NOPE!
Jack and I both came down with a nasty flu bug and missed Christmas all together!
We both just started feeling better tonight and I have to say, I don't want to do that again anytime soon!
Tomorrow evening we are all (my family) supposed to go out to dinner, my sister's gift to us. Hopefully we will be up for that. We should be, but I think the 24 hour bug was a 48 hour one for us.
Oh well, Christmas will just be extended a few days this year. LOL

Deed, so sorry to hear that you and Jack were so sick. That is not a fun holiday. Hope your both perked up now and that you have a fun evening with your family. Lots of soups and jello for you both!!!

Oh Dee, what a miserable way to spend Christmas. Two years ago that happened to Tim and I, and I wound up being glad that at least we were both sick at the same time. We were miserable together! LOL
Get well wishes to you both....lots of rest, go light on the food.

Thanks ladies, I'm feeling better now just a bit of a headache is all. But Jack started getting sick again during dinner tonight and looked pretty bad too.  Soon as we got home he went to bed, hopefully after a good night's rest he will feel better tomorrow. |
