I found out today that Lee Kernaghan had a Christmas Album. Does your favourite country artist have an album? If so list it here.

;D Please don't be offended, I am not a country music person ;D For Christmas music I prefer the classical style. Maybe it was in my upbringing.

I can relate to that. My first Lee Kernaghan CD was actually a mistake and we didn't listen to it for many years lol. His music seemed to fit with driving around here, and later on I found out he was born around here. Some of his older music is based on the country dances I used to go to when I was young.
The songs on the Christmas album are traditional so it was interesting.
I got a classical Christmas CD free from a magazine last year. It never quite made it to the car and I was disappointed. This year I will make sure I play it in the car. I don't usually play CDs in the house, except recently the kids taught me to use windows media player.
I like a certain style of baroque(sp?). It was played around the uni where I worked for a few months. DH loves classical, and we have enjoyed very much the girls learning ballet for that reason. I have heard one of the pieces they are using for the concert at Christmas time. I meant to ask the teacher what it was. One year they used Morning Mood.

I'm waiting for it to come in the mail. I am not sure where to buy CDs here. I think most people would buy them when they take the 1 1/2 hour drive into town. Sorry, I should have explained. Hopefully by the time it comes it will be that much closer to Christmas.

I had a listen to the first song, which I repeated once or twice. I thought of my second daughter when I heard it, it made me smile. She loves the song The Outback Club and this song is a version of that, about Santa. So altogether, right up her alley so to speak. I'll let you know how the rest is. store.countrymusic.com.au/store/products/item1102.inetstore

So far I am enjoying it. I especially like the Christmas Waltz, and how there is an Australian song It Still Feels Like Christmastime to Me.
