When I was growing up, we always opened our presents the evening of the 24th. It was just what my parents preferred. Now that I am older I prefer the kids to open them Christmas morning. That way they don't have to go to bed while they are still excited. What are your traditions?

We started having a 24th opening out of necessity one year. I felt awful. Then next year and the next dd asked for it, naturally. So we opened our presents this morning the 24th. We have an early start tomorrow.

Well the kids just opened their gifts a little while ago. I cannot believe how hard it is to get a doll out of its box with all the tape, wires and string. I got 5 dolls out of thier boxes. It is really a stressful thing ;D

Dolls are very hard to get out of their boxes.
Our dd9 said the Dance with Me Barbie is very nice. I haven't seen it though.

We open gifts on the 25th. When the kids were little they were allowed to open one gift on Christmas Eve.
Now that they are too old to even be called "kids", they don't get out of bed for Christmas Day until practically lunch time. Dd did get up early, before 9, opened her gifts and went back to sleep!
Not quite the same really.
