Hi Carolyn,
It is seasoned ground turkey, layers of potatoes and carrots, small amount of broth (your choice....beef, chicken or veggie). Cook on top of the stove, leaving the pot covered. Very good and very filling. I use some additonal seasonings.....soy sauce, bay leaf and little tomato sauce in mine.

Lynn, sounds good. Could you sub the ground turkey with ground beef? Dh won't eat ground turkey?

Yes, you can sub the meat! I have done this many times....tonight I used ground venison. Very good. We like it because it's something different. The mushroom sounds very good, BR. And here in the south, a roux is what we call gravy.
