Ok I have done it for the 3rd time. I created a child who will not sleep without Mommy. I think its because I let them nurse to sleep, but all my kids were/are like this. Daniel, like his brother and sister before him, searches for me in the night and will wake up crying if he's not sleeping in the bed with me. Yes, at 9mo my kiddo still doesn't sleep through the night. I know many people are against co-sleeping, and I don't want to start a debate or anything. I just have trouble getting things done at night or in the morning when he's asleep because he figures out I am gone and wakes up. I have done it again.

I have some like that too. While they are young enought to move dh always put them in their own bed about 5 minutes after they are asleep. I just stay there until I think it is the right time to move them and he comes in quietly and if they are not ready I put up a finger for 1 minute or short time and more fingers if they are not quite asleep yet.
Kids will wake in the night. Our 4 year old sleep half the times now, and half comes into our bed in the wee small hours, occasionally if her older brothers made alot of noise around 11 or 12 and sometimes we could put her back in her own bed when she went back to sleep again.
I think they are different. Our third was good, I think. Mostly not.
