OK who can do the fancy braiding?
Not me I am afraid. Since I had girls though I have improved greatly which I am happy about, it was such a worry at first.
What kinds of hairstyles do you do with your girls hair?
Lately I have done mostly clips for our little girl and ballet styles.

I wish I knew how to do french braids. My mother never knew how to do it, so I didn't learn but figured I would when I had daughters. My girls want no part of doing ANYTHING to their hair LOL! I attribute this to the fact that it took a loooooong time for them to grow any hair as babies, so they never got used to things being in their hair. Now I'm lucky if I can get them to pull it back in a ponytail when it's really hot out.

Don't any girls, but my sister and I practiced on each other til we learned how to french braid. It's a little bit tricky, but once you get the hang of it, you can fly like the wind. It's also much easier to do when the hair is wet.
Maybe you could find an online tutorial to help?

You are a legend Lynn. You can tell I didn't have any sisters, not sure it would have helped though lol. Well you never know. I was hair challenged. I suppose I could do my own OK up to a point.

ok, BR, what does that mean? Please explain to the dummy (me). A legend?
Growing up, my dad would not allow us to cut our hair, we could only trim the ends. So we had to learn to do different things with it, not only for our vanity's sake, but for practical purposes too. It was hard to have to deal with sometimes, but we made it, I guess.

Nope can't french braid, but I use to do my little girlies in regular braids. I think they liked it when small but I bet they see the pictures now and hate it. LOL. I love the french braid and if my hair were long enough I would get someone to do it.
