Ever heard this saying..

Terrible Two
Trying Three
Frustrating Four
And Finally Five

Do you think the toddler years are difficult? Why or why not?

I always enjoyed my children very much as toddlers. I was the only woman at church that would teach the Two class. I dont' know why people think that two's are terrible??

Did you or do you enjoy toddlers?

Actually 2's are the hardest for me. They are to small to reason with (most of the time) and big enough to challenge the limits we set. I think one of my favorite ages is 12-24mo. We used to call those Pre-toddlers when I worked at daycare. I also enjoy 3-5yo's. Well, my 3yo is a challenge to me, but I think that's just because she's mine lol

All of mine were really sweet and cuddly at this age. I never thought of them as Terrible twos, trying threes, frustrating fours.

I guess maybe because mine were so far apart? I had mine 8 years apart (don't ask me why it just happened that way)

My DD is two right now.... and MOST days, yes, I enjoy her. Sometimes, though, that ugly two year-old stubborn streak ("no!") really frustrates me.

Well Amy, at least you can consider DD normal.. Most kids are like that at age two. Like I said, I think I am the only person I know that actually enjoyed age two. Dh and I taught 18 two years olds' in Sunday school class for over 3 years..No one else wanted too. Course you know that your child reserves all their naughtiness just for their parents..

Gaps are good, I have one 5 year gap and I have enjoyed that alot. I don't think of them as terrible twos either.
