My first thought was "no" but then I read the article, which states that anything over 12 months is considered "extended". By that criteria, all of my mine were extended. I left weaning to the babies, which was fine with both boys as they'd had enough of me by 12 or 13 months, but dd hung on to one side until she was 20 months, when I gently weaned her.
Reading the subject line, I had assumed that extended would be well into toddlerhood. Wonder what the average length of time to breastfeed is these days?
