Ugh. I think the girls are sick of one another and ready for school to start. Amanda has become a little tyrant lately. She screams this horrible piercing scream if she doesn't get her way. Then she gets mad a Katie if anything doesn't go the way she wants it - whether it is Katie's fault or not. She slaps her too.
I have ben disciplining her - taking away privileges etc. Please tell me I am not raising a psychotic serial killer!

I can relate. Mine do a fair amount of passing licks and name calling....

Yes, I don't suffer that very well.
I think go backwards Cheryl, when they get into trouble they then do the same thing to the next in line.
I can relate to the screaming, it is bad for the nerves. Our nine year old seems to be doing less of it lately which is good.

Actually the slapping is a really hard one. It is really awful for the little one. I have a terrible memory, I think I make them say sorry, and a nice cuddle, it probably takes so long that they forget the problem by then lol.
I find my daughter who will be 5 in December finds it hard being home all day when she is not in preschool. Sometimes if her Dad is going to the shop for 5 mins after work or picking up her sister she goes along just to get out of the house.
I should really take her to the park or the library more. I usually try to keep things simple. The other day I went wood collecting, it takes about 4 hours, just so dd could go, as I had to mind her. She was so proud to learn how to climb up a bank. She saw lots of different things.
