For 18 1/2 years I have taken kids to get their needles/shots and I think today I did my last one. I don't really think it has sunk in. Most of them had one at 2 months, 4 months and 6 months, 1 year, 18 months and 4 years. There was 3 extra ones as well at least. Times that by 5 children. Usually you line up with hundreds of others, although once we went to a mobile van with a mascot called the Prickly Protector, I think he was an Australian echidna, like a hedgehog.
Today it was very orderly and just us.
