Let it cool. Press through a sieve and add the fromage frais. Crumble the biscuit into powder and stir into the mixture. Purée with Pumpkin & Fennel (from 5 months) 1 organic pumpkin Half organic fennel 1-2 teaspoons organic olive oil Cut and slice about a quarter of the pumpkin. Take the skin off. Wash the fennel. Cut the pumpkin and the fennel into small pieces. Cook for 20 minutes by either steam cooking or in boiling water, until soft. Can be either frozen or refrigerated. Just add 1-2 teaspons of olive oil to the purée just before serving. TipsHow to Cook Without Losing Vitamins and Minerals With a steamer you can cook vegetables and small pieces of meat and fish without adding any fat. This form of cooking will also preserve vitamins and minerals. 35% of the vitamins and minerals are lost in the water when boiling vegetables. It is therefore a good idea to keep the water once the vegetables have been cooked and then mix it back into the purée to retain the vitamins and minerals and to obtain a smoother texture.
