Today I got motivated to start applying for residential colleges for our son again. I don't seem to be very fast filling out the forms. DS did help a little but prefers watching cricket.
I have been emailing dh for help as well.
Soon the results for his final year at high school will be out and I think he has to apply to the uni before Christmas, which will immediately start a panic for accommodation. If I do enough early form filling outs he will have his accommodation already sorted which would be heaps better since we live so far away from these places.
Some want deposits even though you don't know which uni is going to offer you a place. Please pray that I finally get this finished. I have had such feelings of failure not finishing this.
I am trying out colored writing as well.

If ds gets his uni of choice they have guaranteed accommodation which is great, as I have seen it and think it would suit him.
It turns out that we don't have to sort out final accommodation before Christmas but later on in the new year.
I will try to finish one more application for residential college in a uni that he can get into as well in a different city in case the other doesn't turn out.

We did two today, and plan on doing one more. They all ask different questions. Some where, why have you chosen your particular profession, why have you chosen a college with substance restrictions, what are your siblings names and ages?? etc. etc. These ones require deposits so it is alot of juggling etc. I hope it all helps in the end.

Thankfully it all turned out well, and there was no last minute looking for a place to live. His accommodation place contacted him straight after an offer was made.
He is in temporary rooms, and moves to his new room tomorrow.
