We are now counting down the days until our son receives 2 offers for university. He has applied in two states so a couple of days later he will get another offer. The first one is in 9 days, it will be really hard to be patient for the other one. He hopes a particular university in the second state will give him an offer.
Then I will book a cabin at a caravan park for us to go stay there to book him in etc.

Six days and counting down. Still unsure what is going to happen, just need to keep checking the book about it and looking at uni websites and calling support phone numbers. I guess we will get instructions when the time comes. One uni gives an offer and enrolment information on the same day, another makes me wait up until 8 days when dd starts kinder. Hope it is all easy.

Br, things will fall into place for your ds I am sure. I know how much work and stress this is. When we prepared for our ds to go off to university I didn't realize how much work it actually way. He went to Tennessee to a private Christian college. That was 600 miles away from us and I sure missed him.
Hang in there and keep us posted as to how things progress.

I have worked out that if he goes to his preferred uni, he can take his TV and VCR, some kitchen boxes to store snacks, they do that to discourage pests, his bike and a special D lock, his doona and his clothes etc. They test the appliances before they are allowed use them. I know how much the deposits are etc. and can pay by dd. However, if he gets into another residential college and uni. it will be all different.
I do know not to look at that stuff online late at night like I did, it makes it harder to sleep lol. Then I found ds#2 was missing, he had gone walking around the block for exercise.

This could be a great opportunity to get rid of any household stuff you don't need, Br! That's a positive, at least! It's torture waiting, isn't it, but thankfully not much longer.

He got into Bachelor of Arts in International Studies/Bachelor of Commerce, in a uni. 4 hours from here. We have applied for him to stay there already, so that is good, however it is not guaranteed. DS and DH have gone for a drive 50 mins to the nearest town in that state to get a newspaper in case they have hints and ideas on things.
We noticed last night that the offer was linked to the university site and they said Welcome to the University of C. You could also accept online but we thought sleeping on it was a good idea as it was late at night when we found out.
