Well, for those of you who read the earlier post from August, ya know my darling Gram got her teeth pulled to make way for new dentures. (she would just drop dead if she knew I was writing about this on the Internet!!)
Anyway, poor Gram is still waiting for her teeth, she has been able to eat nothing but soups. Or she makes a bit of something and puts it into the blender and puree's it. Some things just shouldn't be blended, just looks wrong!
Thanks to red-tape, paperwork and insurance and all, she was supposed to get new chompers last week but it's been delayed till all the "right paperwork is received". *big sigh*
So I told Gram about these machines (like a gum ball machine) that are located in the stores, they sell things for a quarter called "Billy-Bob's" teeth. They are fake teeth that look like they belong in the mouth of a red-neck. Ya know, a few teeth missing or blacked out! I suggested to Gram that she get herself a pair of these and she'd be all set to go out in public with her new "improved, beautiful" self!!! Well, she didn't consent to it, but she got a good chuckle out of it. And I do love to hear Grandma laugh, music to my soul!!
