I have been needing to make/get some aprons because I get so messy cleaning and cooking. I have some fabric and a pattern, but I would rather be beaten than cut out a pattern. You just can't find aprons in stores these days. I was talking to my Mom tonight. She never wore an apron much, but I remember a couple of bib aprons she had - very 50's. I asked her is she had any and she said she had a whole drawer full of them. I asked if I could go through them when we are there for the reunion in June. She said I could have them all! She said she didn't know where she got so many aprons, but that some of them must have been her mother's - my grandma's! My Grandma has been gone since 1975. She was born in 1899. How cool is it that I will get to use her aprons?

Oh that's wonderful! I love vintage aprons, and how cool is it that they are aprons from your own family?? I'd be grinning from ear to ear! ;D

Your grandma is a good vintage lol.
My daughters have been wearing the apron Deed made, that I won here. They look very cute in it, thanks Deed. It must be a lovely design.
Can't wait until you get your aprons Cheryl.
