Denise I saw the cutest little snow flakes at Walmart the other day not too big not too small I think those would look smashing on Ice Blue ribbon adorning the Tables or chairs.
Cameras on the tables so that everyone can take their own pics of the happy couple, Is she doing a traditional boquet? I am wondering if you could maybe add some "snow flakes" or Ice Crystals" to it.
Is it going to be a Home wedding or will you guys be using a Church and Hall?
I am asking because I have a dear friend who's sister is getting married in Dec as well and they live in Indiana and I have been asked to help with the decorating. Their colors are Silver and Wine.
What is the date they are getting married?

They are getting married Dec. 18th.
They are getting married in a church, and we're renting the municipal building for the reception.
We bought her dress yesterday-- not cheap, but not extravagant either. . . . got the bridesmaid's dresses at DEB incredibly. They are graded shades of blue-- from the palest powder blue, to almost navy. . . with rhinestone accents.
We picked up some "do it your self" invitatons at Factory Card outlet. . . . Any one know where I can find poems or sayings for the invites?
I also grabbed some silver wire edged ribbon at Factory Card Outlet. . . will drape it down the center of white covered tables. . .using ice blue napkins/paper plates, clear utentils.
We're thinking- clear bowls with dark blue, light blue, silver ornaments and twinkle lights for table settings. And/or mirrors with blue floating candles in fish bowls (depends on if I can find cheap mirros and fish bowls)
Favors-- maybe Hershey kiss roses in blue satin or blue cellophane, if I can find it. Or Hershey minatures with printed labels we make on the computer. . . .
someone suggested bookmarks-- If I had a decent picture of them together, I'd try to do that (we did that for my parents 50th anniversary party though)

Boy, you are really getting there. I guess the time frame is fairly short.

sounds lovely, Denise. Our pastor's grandson had a Dec wedding and I remember they used the twinkling white Christmas lights and also used some spray white stuff for frost effect. Their colors were silver, white and black. It looked elegant to me.

Denise how about something on the lines of this for the invites. Doug (whatever his middle and last name) and Brides full name will pledge their love as one on Sunday the Eighteenth of December Two Thousand and five at (time goes here) at (name of church) (Church address here) (City & State) Our Joy will be more complete if you can share this celebration with us.
Then on the opposite page This day I will marry mt best friend the one I laugh with, life for and Love.

they postponed the wedding due to her parent's disapproval. . . postponing it didn't help though, as they have still disowned her. We're looking at a summer or early fall wedding now (depending on when he can get leave time again) She still wants to do the ice blue/silver colors though--- and we appreciate all the ideas, we just have a bit more time to plan now
