How would you keep in touch with your out-of-town grandchildren?
I am always searching for new ways to keep in touch with my grandchildren who all live a long ways from me.
I have three in Texas and four in Illinois. Now, Lori's crew wil be moving less than three hours from me, but still I don't get to see them every weekend..
Help??

Besides the phone and internet, how about get them a cassette player and send them messages via cassette? That way they can hear your voice and Grandpa's and then can record and send you a message back. I think it would be especially nice for their birthday's, graduations and holidays. ;D

Deed, I like that idea. Don't forget the video camera! What a fun way to keep in touch so that it seems you all are together.
