I thought I already posted this, but I must have dreamt it.
Ok-- details. Doug and Brenda are officially engaged, although no date has been set for a wedding. He can't take her to FL with him (couldn't even if they were ALREADY married) and he'll be there until Dec. 2006, then it will depend on what the Marines have planned for him as to when they get married.
He went to pick her up a few days before he left-- and she asked what they were going to do that night. He says "I thought I'd propose to you tonight."
She then asked him what he was doing still standing, and he looks at the ground and says "my shoes aren't untied or anything, are they?" He never did get on one knee, but she's wearing his ring , so I guess they figured it out from there.
