Deana and I have been discussing lunches-- here is what she typically packs to take to school/work. She's getting bored. I need some new inspiriation, to keep her eating healthy, yet not buy lunches everyday at school. TIA.
bread sticks with pizza sauce, banana, milk
peanut butter stuffed celery, crackers, juice
thin sliced ham/cream cheese on a tortilla rolled up, orange slices, milk
chef salad, crackers, homemade cookies
hard boiled eggs, cheese cubes, grapes
hot dog in thermos, chips, apple
spaghetti in thermos, buttered bread, fruit cocktail
cottage cheese, apple, snack cake
pita stuffed with tuna salad, carrot sticks, pear
She does not have access to a fridge or microwave.

I love Armenian cracker bread, or lavash. We also call it mountain bread here. It is square and flat and goes great with tuna (with chili flavouring) mixed into Phil cream cheese and spread over the bread, and maybe some baby spinach leaves, or paprika or a small amount of cheddar or sharp cheese.
Bread sticks, pizza sauce and salami?

Here's a few ideas to play with...
pickles I'm a bread freak, what other kinds of breads can you find? string cheese? There are a lot of cheese varietis available check the produce section for something different (that's what I do when I get in a snack rut) chips and cheese or bean dip peanut butter crackers have you tried cheese on your cottage cheese? what about those cheese stuffed wirners in a croissant? leftover pizza?
I dunno, just trying to help.
