I just wanted to say that we moved Francine last Friday afternoon. It was a big week for me last week and even the last few days. Alot of changes to be made--addresses to government, etc...concerning all her paperwork.
She cried in the last moments before we left, on Friday, but a few minutes before we left the caretaker lady gave her a new coloring book and coloring markers and she became very happy and came to show us at the door, just minutes before we left.
Then on Saturday, I thought about her alot and thought--should I call?....finally I didn't call, because I thought to myself I didn't want to be overly protective, I told myself--trust, Lucie, it will go well....
Well, imagine that the lady wanted to phone me, but didn't have my number---the educator had forgotten the papers concerning everything about Francine AND Francine happened to fall in the bathroom and hit her head and the lady took her to the hospital right away....they spent 10 am to 6 pm there---she got 3 stitches in the top of her head. She really wanted to contact me, but had no way to reach me, so I found out yesterday morning, when she was able to get hold of the educator at her office.
But there is no worries to have, Francine is alright.
We talked alot together and the new caretaker-told me Francine weighed 78 pounds.... I freaked out. She always had weighed around 85 pounds and I never noticed she had lost weight...I never see undressed and she is so thin so I never noticed...anyways, she will be seeing the Dr very soon, again and I will go to assist. She really needs to gain weight. The caregiver has already from the start feeding her very nourishing foods to make her gain weight.
Ah...there is so much I could say....too much for you all to read. It's alot of details...important details for Francine, but all I can say is that she is definitely in better hands right now.
Thanks for listening, it is comforting to share, because I have only Pierre to talk to about Francine. I don't say all to my parents not to worry them, especially my father.
