It is an interesting subject Denise. We have 7 to feed every night, not sure what category that comes under.

Yep, that is serious cooking. I have alot of respect for people who help out with those things. I liked the types of recipes in the first one. What does tomato sauce mean that you put into pinto beans.
Punchbowl Trifle in the third one is interesting. I am a big trifle fan. Ladies often brought a trifle for dessert. Ours is made with jelly roll, sherry or orange juice, jello, peaches, custard and something on top, with chopped walnuts.

Tomato sauce is a somewhat thinner tomato puree, and may include seasonings and other flavorings so that it is ready to be used in other dishes or as a base for other sauces.
