Really weird day yesterday

Our church hosted the Area Men/Women's Fellowship. We had a guest song leader and speaker all lined up. NEITHER ONE SHOWED!

So, they tossed my dd and her boyfriend on stage at the last minute to lead the worship service (they were the only youth that went). . . . and our preacher ad libbed about the homeless shelter - that was supposed to be the speaker.


Then--- my mom "forgot" to tell me when I was at her house. . . . but remembered to tell my sister online. . . . .that apparently someone was in her hedge row at midnight Sat night--- shooting multiple rounds . . . as many as 9 shots fired, maybe more.

So- phone calls to the county sherriff's office, and assurances that they would patrol the area at least hourly, and come IMMEDIATELY if mom called them. UGH. . .

What a day you had sunshine. Good for Deana and Jerry for jumping up and taking the jobs needed.

I hope your folks are safe. And I hope those patrol cars catches the nit-wit who would be shotting that close to their home and scaring them. Ugh...
