Rain!

We have been getting little bits of rain, not much. Last night I kept thinking I was hearing gentle rain. It was a little wet outside at 9am. Then tonight at 4pm it was a more steady rain, that was even running down the street.

Where the fires were earlier they have had lots of rain in the King area.

So that's a good start.

That's great, Br. It must be wonderful seeing some rain.

Same thing happened again today, rain after 4pm and cool temperatures. It is raining steadily now. I didn't know it was cool outside until the kids told me.

You are lucky! It's about 750 million degrees here, and the humidity is about 150%. Only exaggerating a very little. It's hot and dry and humid and thoroughly awful!!

I am trying to remember if I woke up hot, but I don't think so. It has been so strange waking up hot. It can't make for sound sleep. I know one night I did wake up more times than I can remember.

Around 3pm it was very hot. At 3.30 suddenly there was a cool breeze. Sometime after that, around 4pm steady rain and lightning again.

At least this time I checked outside and it is cool now.

There was another night when the rain came in a little later.

Last night though was more encouraging. It sounded quite heavy. Also it has cooled things down quite a lot. I wonder how much rain we actually got?
