We had stir fried beef with snow peas, broccoli and an Asian black bean sauce with 2 minute noodles. Any tried Asian black beans? Not sure of the translation.
"A fermented black soybean having a pungent salty flavor, preserved in salt and used in Asian cuisine." From answers.com

Marty picked up food at the grocery, so we had:
fried chicken mashed potatoes cole slaw pineapple upside down cake
Not frugal, but sure was tasty.
