Scotch Broom Wreath Think out of the classic circle with this refreshingly modern wreath that is pretty enough to go anywhere in the house: hallways, alongside staircases, even in windows. Discover the dried pomegranates at your local grocer and check your florist for the dried berries. Then experiment beyond the oval shape by trying out a square, half-circle, rectangle, or star-shaped wreath! Materials scotch broom, about 6 branches or 1 bunch (to make an 8"- diameter wreath) heavy-duty scissors hot-glue gun (low temperature) & glue sticks green reel (rose) wire, 1 yard 9 pomegranates, dried pyracanthus berries, dried Instructions Form the branches of the scotch broom into an oval, allowing the ends to trail out into space. Wire the branches together on both ends with green reel wire. Hot-glue dried pomegranates in 3 sections over the wired areas (3 pomegranates in each section). Tuck in pyrancanthus berries around pomegranates and glue down, if necessary. Note: Scotch broom will dry in about 2 days indoors; outdoors it will stay fresh longer. As it dries, it becomes darker and retains the classic look of a broom. In the case that you can't locate scotch broom, substitute with huckleberry brush branches
