Wintery Eucalyptus Wreath The invigorating fragrance of eucalyptus makes this wreath an aromatic delight for the December holidays; you might even want to hang it inside your front door, instead of the outside, to enjoy the fragrance better. In a smaller version this wreath would also make a lovely centerpiece for your holiday dinner table, especially if you set a bowl of fruit and nuts inside it. Materials 16"- diameter wire ring base green reel (rose) wire wire scissors hot-glue gun (low temperature) & glue sticks pruning sheers 5 eucalyptus branches, about 30" tall 2 handfuls dried Pyracanthus berries on branches 8 walnuts (in the shell) 8 almonds (in the shell) 8-16 short cinnamon sticks Instructions Cut branches of eucalyptus into five-inch pieces using pruning sheers. Using wire scissors, cut pieces of wire and attach the branches individually onto the wire ring base. Using the hot-glue gun and/or glue sticks, glue the cinnamon sticks first, using them to indicate where you want to place your clusters. Glue the nuts around each cinnamon stick. Cut the pyracanthus berries into stems about two inches long and wire them into small bunches. Glue the berries onto the leaves.

No problem Car, I love the mental image I have of it. Thought of doing one as a candle ring sprayed silver.

The original photo can be enlarged from this page: www.cleanhomejournal.com/crafts/28_wintery.aspI can nearly see what type of eucalyptus leaves they are. The round ones I used to suck on when I was little lol. I saw a burgundy eucalyptus wreath not long ago on a site, and was so happy to find a little branch of the same leaves when dh brought home the wood last week.
