www.mvtimes.com/vineyard_visitor/tastesofisland_pumpkin.htmlIn Australia and in Mum's kitchen we ate pumpkin alot. We always had it with a roast for example. We ate mostly butternut pumpkin and Qld. blue. Then later the orange small pumpkins came in. These days they taste more like squash, and are sometimes green in color. My Dad spoke of large pumpkins that the piglets would come rushing out of. I can buy large pumpkin seeds and it would be fun I think. Especially for the agricultural show or county fair. The season is so late though. Anyone been to Martha's Vineyard?
