Here is what I'm planning for my mass produced gifts (coworkers, teachers, unexpected people I need a quick gift )
The simplest way to give a festive food gift. Fill a colorful plastic spoon with a dip mix, a cheeseball mix, a warming drink mix. Decorate the spoon with paper or fabric and ribbons. The recipient stirs the spoon mix into sour cream, cream cheese, water, and enjoys a drink or dip, etc Make delicious, simple, single-serving mixes for cold drinks, ice cream, puddings, smoothies, cappuccinos. Quick - Easy - Use everyday ingredients. Give as gifts in decorated paper coffee cups, or keep for a quick snack. Perfect for party favors, RVS college kids, teacher gifts—whenever a "special little something" is needed.

Great ideas Denise! Can't wait to see them. ;D
I don't have a clue as yet. I only do for my parents, Jack's mom, Roddy, Heather (nephew and niece), my sis Sandy, Jack and my kids. So I don't really do anything en mass. The kids, Rod and Heather are getting older now and it's getting harder every year to come up with something for them.
If you have any ideas I would appreciate them, my parents, sis Sandy and mil have everything and anything they could ever want or need and Rod will be 15 and Heather 13.
Help me please!

Not sure yet. Probably knitted scarves and something using denim - maybe purses, just not sure. (I have lots of denim on hand and have to use it for something...)

I did this last year, and may do some again this year:
I made fabric bags for my mix gifts. I put the mix in plastic zip lock bags, then put them in matching bags. I made bags that looked liked bananas for the banana bread mix, ones that looked like giant chocolate chip cookes for the cookie mix, ones that looked like a coffee mug for hot drink mixes, etc.

Here's what I do for teens on my list (and some adults)
I use green puffy fabric paint on new tube socks. . . . I put dollar signs on them and write "sock it away" on it. I use a pringles lid, cut a slot for money and then crochet the lid to the top of the sock.

The recipient stirs the spoon mix into sour cream, cream cheese, water, and enjoys a drink or dip, etc Denise, thank-you for all your ideas! You have such imagination! But I have one question concerning the decorated plastic spoon with a mix.....I imagine the mix is dry?...You wrap it in cellopahne or saran wrap?...Does the mix move or get messy in the spoon, like spill outside the spoon or under the spoon?... Can you explain to me in detail how you do it? I'm such a visual person and I need to be sure how you do it. Thanks!

I use dry mixes. . . things like hot chocolate mix, etc. or ranch dressing mix. . . I put the mix into a saran wrap "envelope" then place on the spoon, then tie with tulle or more saran wrap.
I've also placed some the moister mixes in aluminum foil "envelopes" then placed in the spoons.

Ahhh....Thank-you Denise! I thought you put the dry mix on the spoon, then wrap it in saran wrap but then I thought some might spill to the sides and behind the spoon....BUT with your explaination it,s more clear to me. Thanks again!

Last year I gave altered paint cans as a gift with a little something in them, like Candy, a gift card, etc. I have been known to make a selection of cards and give them, usually 12 cards for a variety of occassions. I gave a scrapbook to my SIL and a mini-scrapbook to my MIL as well. I like to give homemade gifts, except to my Grandparent's in-laws. They've snubbed all of the handmande gifts that I have given. So I've stopped giving them handcrafted items.

Also stamped on tiles and sealed them with Krylon Crystal clear, to be used as coasters. They turned out cute! Can you tell I like giving handmade/crafted gifts?? Amber
