I'm looking for neat craft ideas for teacher's gifts. I work in a preschool, and everyone is gift giving crazy. I need something really cute, not too time consuming to make, and not "teachery" we all get too many school-themed gifts:)Thanks ladies!

Have you seen the clear ornaments that have red/green Christmas shaped soaps in them? My mom picked some up at Michaels last week. They are too cute and were only $1. The soaps are little tiny shapes....red and white striped candy canes. Too cute! I am going to pick up several. I would really like to do spa baskets this year, but that may be too pricey for me. Our local dollar store has some cute small containers that would be nice for such as this. I thought about including some fizzy bath tablets, a scented candle and a packet of tea. I think its Alenkas Printables.....has some really cute printable tea bag holders. I got one in the mail yesterday from a dear friend. I placed it in my kitchen window. Too cute. Just some thoughts for you!

What about an altered/decorated clipboard? Or altered/decorated comp book or 3-ring binder. Or an altered paint can filled with goodies? (Tissue paper makes a book base so it doesn't have to be full full.) Last year I did a Christmas themed can and put in the jumbo sizes of movie candy (on sale for I believe 50 cents.) and a bag of popcorn for a movie themed can. I also seen really cute Christmas ornaments that were made out of styrofoam balls. They were adorable! Or even a food themed gift basket type thing. You could get a mug from teh dollar store and buy flavored hot chocolates to put in there, and wrap it in the cellophane paper and sprinkle chocolates in there before you tie it up. I can't wait to see other responds. I'm going to look at the printable site that Lynn was talking about! Amber
