Does anyone know what the felt is made of that they put in applique kits (Christmas tree skirt or stocking kit)? Is the felt made of wool, or something else? Guess you can tell I know nothing about felt, lol, but I sure am tempted to try one of those kits. The problem is I am allergic to wool, so if the felt is wool I'll have to leave the kits alone Any info would be much appreciated!

Dana,
Sorry I just saw this post. When I buy kits with felt it is the heavier regular felt that you buy from a bolt at the fabric store. I don't believe there is wool in it.
I bet Deed knows though and I imagine she didn't see this post either.
Let me ask her for you.

Sorry Dana I don't have a clue, but I think I would use the type you buy on a bolt also.
