What size do you scrap in?

I started out scrapping in 12x12, but I have changed over to 8½x11 now. This size just works out better for me for several reasons...
~I can use regular page protectors from the stationary department, which are wayyyy cheaper than the 12x12 ones in the craft section.
~I can use regular 3 ring binders, which are also cheaper than the 12x12 ones.
~The albums fit on bookshelves better than the larger ones.
~The paper is easier to store... I cut mine to size and store it in hanging file folders.
~Its less "space" for me to fill when scrapping, since I usually only have 1 or 2 photos to scrap. And if need be, I can do 2 pages!

I chose to re-scrap all of my 12x12 layouts in 8½x11. All of them except for Tyler's baby album. It was my very first album, so I decided to leave it as is.

So.... what about you? What size do you scrap in for the most part? Is this the size you started scrapping in?

I began scrapping in only 8 x 11. Soon after that the 12 x 12's came out but I didn't do any of those until just recently. Here it seems there are more of the 12 x 12's to choose from. I still prefer the 8 x 11's but have done one album in the larger size.

8 1/2 x 11. Just so much easier to do.

I do both still. I started out in 8.5 by 11, but then loved the space of the 12 by 12. So I do both. I also do albums that are 6 x 6 or 8 x 8. So any size basically, LOL

I love doing the 12X12 albumns. Seems that I always have so much memorabilia to put on the pages that it won't all fit on the smaller pages. I have 6 albumns going right now and way behind! If I ever get finished with these I might try a smaller one for a special event or occasion. What I need is another "ROOM" to put all my stuff in.......I'm growing out of my space, and yes...........those 12X12 albumns do take up some room!
