I ordered a recipe book from Avon last week. It is cheating I know, and I hope I use it. I think you just write the recipes in.
I did a basic scrapbook by cutting out recipes and pasting them in a scrapbook 20 years ago, however, they are falling apart now, which is sad for my husband and I. At the moment they are in a bag, not sure what to do next.

I bought a small scrapbook with colorful papers, stickers, tags and it's all about making a Family Recipe book. I paid $9.99 at Costco a month ago...It even has the plastic pages to insert the pages once done.

Sounds really great! I am not sure we have things like that in the shops here.
