The H&H A Week on the Homestead 6-16/6-18

Hi everyone this will be the first one of many productive weeks of the summer. We can post here what is happening each. It will run Sunday through Sat. Since we are just starting it, it will be very short this week.

Today I have been very busy. I worked at school and when we got home I needed to get things ready for the art show in K.C. this week end. I am very nervous and excited at the same time.
I need to bake some banana bread.
I need to pack for my trip.
Sometime in there we have to go to Alex's ball game. lol

Today is a typical Friday on my Homestead Marci.
We always have breakfast out and then do our banking, and errands. Todays errands included Lowe's for choosing our ceramic tile. Then on to Wal*Mart for a new tire for the car. Had to wait three hours in the store waiting to get one new tire..Ugh. I managed to only spend 15$ while I waited..(other than the 75$ tire that is)
Stopped by dh's work and took him some lunch and then came home to work on laundry and clean bathrooms.

I didn't do too much here today. Just kind of lasied around. I did get potatoes roasting for supper ans well as made a Fresh Fruit salad and zucchini and eggplant with carrots and celery roasting as well.

Laundry is done and now I am trying to get stuff gathered up for our trip to FIL's for the weekend.

I think this entire week has been errands and more errands! I hate running errands! LOL

We did get a lot accomplished though, really helps when Jack has a day off during the week to get some of these things done.

Of course, my list this week was a mile long as usual and I only got a few items actually done on it, but the other things were more important and there is always next week. ;D
