Well I was out of town for the better half of this week, but I'm back and just as busy as ever!
This week I will be making Jellies and jams. I have Cherries Strawberries Blueberries Necterines
To slice up and can. I will also be getting a jump start on my holiday baking. I will be using some canned (from the store) items since some of the ingredients aren't in season yet.
Ceiling fans are done Vents are done Craft closet is getting there Music room closet is now empty!! I'm going to use this as my Gift / Fabric closet. Don is going to put some shelves in there for me so I can store lots of goodies on them. I plan on using large plastic tubs and lableing them for each person we buy for. That way when it is time to wrap them I already know who gets what.
We will be repainting the Master bedroom as soon as the rain stops! I want it just a shade darker than what it already is (Blegin Waffle) I'm leaning towards Honey Gold (since it is my Vici room).
I found some fabulous material to make a wall hanging with it is a tapestry type material and it is only $3.99 a yard!
And I also found some really pretty material, that is already in 3' squares (sewen together) done in a rich velvet, silk and Batik with gold piping outlining each square $6.99 (Clearenced from $24.99 per yard) a yard but I think it's worth it. It is in burgandies, and greens with hints of gold.
So as I said I am once again going to be very busy this and next week.

Morning H&Hers!
Today I need to take the dogs for a walk. Karma has a vet apt. at noon so I need to go to a neighboring town for that. We are having some friends over to swim later. I still need to work on some purses, belts, and jewelry. Not sure what dinner will be. Have a good day all!
Wow Ellise, your a very busy homesteader and I want to see all those projects your working on. I remember how quaint and cute your grape kitchen was.
And, please post those delicious bread recipes for us. Pretty Please.
Not so busy day here. We were suppose to take our car in for a new muffler, but the guy didn't realize he had to special order it from Saturn, so we wait now until next week. It is pretty noisy.
I am having company from NC tomorrow night thru Tuesday am. Can't wait. It is my old friend Connie who use to live here near me. I miss her so much. We will be yakking the night away, and I have planned a surprise pj party for us. We will also spend two days shopping til we drop.
Today I am just readying for Connie's visit, and that means giving this house a good cleaning. I plan to make some of her fave foods as well.
Then the following weekend my granddaughter Ashleigh is coming to visit me for a week. Gotta do some special things for and with her as well.
Due to storms this morning and tornado warnings I didn't do much of anything other than clean the bathrooms gave them all (2 1/2) a good scrubbing from top to bottom.
Ran to the store to get some stew beef for Kabobs on the grill Sunday. Got that marinating and will bag it up and freeze what we don't use.
Paid the Electric bill, and looked at some beautiful furniture (which I can't afford right now).
Went to Lowe's with Don and got some weather stripping to fix the back door, hope it stops the leak!
Tomorrow I have a TON of things to do. ~ Call the insurance company there is a bubble in Daniel's ceiling ~ Get rooms ready for out of towners ~ Vacuum daily need with 3 kitties ~ Bag up some meat ~ Make menu for next week ~ Check off the to do list ~ Inventory the cupboards & freezer ~ Run to Sam's for Hot dogs & burgers for the weekend ~ Call and check on Mother ~ Go look at a piano that Daniel called about ~ pick up paint for the MB
Gosh I hope I can get it all done.
Carolyn I will post the recipes as soon as I get a chance. I also have some that are sugar free so will post them as well.
Hope your day was filled with lots of love and joyful memories
julieann: A long while back you posted a recipe for Easy Sauce by Reg and Jack Absalom, I just wanted to say thank you so much, and to mention that it is pretty good for making tomato relish. I am an Aussie living in the USA. No easy access to Ezy Sauce.JulieAnn
