Do you have kids exhibits at the Fair that require the kids to grow some vegies and make them into animals? We have that, it was around when I was little as well. There is a French show on TV that is an animation that is full of ideas. www.marloufilms.com/rubriques.asp?RUB=1&PAGE=2#openTo enter this March our children, actually have to grow the vegies themselves. I will have to remember to ask them if they want to plant the winter squash.

We have 4 H Clubs in most rural towns here BR. The kids win ribbons for animals, sewing, crafts, growing things, etc. Adults can also join in at the County Fair

OK 4H is a club, I have been wondering what it is. What does H stand for?

We got our County Fair book today, or more accurately our Show booklet. DD8 thinks a floral egg cup may be a nice thing to enter. We have lots of reading to do to decide which things to enter this year.

Dd did a floral egg cup like a floral saucer, but next time she will know to use bigger flowers. They did quite well, and dd12 got rewarded for all her hard work on her needlework.
