Thanks for posting these Denise, they are beautiful.
I love japonicas, that is what I call my quince. We were so determined to have one at this house. We dug up some that someone had struck in the farm driveway at our rental property. We planted them at our old house and moved one here from there. Our first house which we had for many years had one and the windows looked out onto it.
I have never had a lilac. There are some new varieties too, that is what the nursery had when I got inspired to buy one. I must have got confused then lol.
The little creek is beautiful.
